After my first works with the CD cases, I re-worked two of the three paintings, this time trying for a multi-layered approach to the design. This was very much as simplistic as the original stencil method but it was nevertheless a wholesome step in early experimentation.

My second attempt for mutli-layering was based on elevating each shape either partially or entirely. The point being that this would create a more 3D feel compared to the previous method. Although this seems to work well enough with these abstract collectives, I feel it would only be superfluous applied to any other design. Still, I'm curious to see if I may work from this in future projects.
